Bass Julian Rodescu has received raves for his singing in the worlds leading opera houses and concert halls. He has appeared at Milan's La Scala, Carnegie Hall, Washington's Kennedy Center, Maggio Musicale Fiorentino, Madrid, Munich, Naples, Tanglewood, New York City Opera, Boston Symphony Hall, Opera Company of Philadelphia, Miami Opera and many more. He has worked with Riccardo Muti, Simon Rattle, Zubin Mehta, Seiji Ozawa, Wolfgang Sawallisch, James Conlon, Semyon Bychkov, Lev Dodin, Jonathan Miller and many more. Mr. Rodescu has recorded for EMI, RCA, Erato and Albany Records. He made his debut at London's Royal Opera House at Covent Garden in the 2003-2004 season. Mr. Rodescu is on the Board of Directors of Astral Artistic Services, where he served as Program Director. Mr. Rodescu has given Master Classes at the Curtis Institute, Temple University, Bucknell University, Boston University, the University of Massachusetts and the Teatro Real in Madrid. He is co-founder of the annual Florence Voice Seminar.
