Marissa Regni
Violin

Marissa Regni has since 1996 been Principal Second Violinist and appeared several times as a soloist with the National Symphony Orchestra. Before moving to Washington, D.C. she was a member and twice a featured soloist with the St. Louis Symphony, and was an active performer in that Orchestra's Chamber Music Series. She is a member of the critically acclaimed Manchester String Quartet, and a founding member of the Kennedy Center Chamber Players. Ms. Regni has been heard throughout the United States, Germany and Mexico, and has collaborated with such artists as Joseph Silverstein, Julius Baker, The Angeles Quartet, Arturo Delmoni and William Preucil. She has also been a featured artist on National Public Radio and The MacNeil Lehrer Report. Ms. Regni received her Bachelor's and Master's degrees and the prestigious Performer's Certificate in Violin from the Eastman School of Music. She also earned a diploma from the Juilliard School of Music, where she was a student in the Pre-College Division.
