Erin Keefe
Violin

Erin Keefe earned a Master of Music Degree from the Juilliard School as a student of Ronald Copes and received her Bachelors Degree from the Curtis Institute ofMusic where she studied with Ida Kavafian and Arnold Steinhardt. Her past teachers include Philip Setzer, Philipp Naegele, Mitchell Stern and Teri Einfeldt. Ms. Keefe was the Grand Prize Winner at the 2004 Corpus Christi International String Competition, won Second Prize in the 2004 Carl Nielsen International Violin Competition in Denmark, and most recently won Second Prize in the 2004 Gyeongnam International Violin Competition in Korea. A dedicated chamber musician, Ms. Keefe has performed at the Marlboro Music Festival, Music from Angel Fire, and the OK Mozart, Seattle, Aspen and Kenisel Hall Festivals. She has participated in seminars led by Isaac Stern and the Emerson String Quartet and has toured with the Orpheus Chamber Orchestra. She has collaborated with artists including Richard Goode, David Soyer, Peter Wiley, Gilbert Kalish, Ida Kavafian, William Pruecil and Samuel Rhodes.
