

Pianist Marcantonio Barone has performed as soloist with major orchestras on four continents and has given solo recitals in New York, London, St. Petersburg, Moscow, and other American and European cities. He teaches piano, chamber music, and keyboard harmony at Swarthmore College, and he has been head of the piano department at the Bryn Mawr Conservatory of Music since 1980. As a chamber musician, Mr. Barone performs annually as a member of the Craftsbury Chamber Players, the Lenape Chamber Ensemble, and 1807 and Friends, and at the Delaware Chamber Music Festival. His recordings are available on the Albany, Bridge, and Capstone labels.
