Domenick Fiore,
Double Bass
Domenick Fiore first studied double bass with Wes Fisher in Reading, PA at age 14, then with John Schaeffer at the Philadelphia Musical Academy. He has performed in Broadway shows, with the Brooklyn Philharmonia, National Ballet of Canada, the Duke Ellington Orchestra and the Philadelphia Orchestra Pops Concerts. Domenick has been Director of Orchestras and Chamber Music at The Mid- Southeast, Calgary, Snowmass and Hartford Suzuki Institutes, the Chicago Institute, and the Central Pennsylvania Institute, as well as clinician at the Bermuda, Puerto Rico, Hickory, NC, and Augusta, GA Suzuki workshops and has conducted the national student orchestra at the National Suzuki Conference in Cincinnati, Ohio. Until June, 2007 he directed the five Suzuki Orchestras the University of Hartford's Hartt School. Domenick and Linda Fiore live in Pennsylvania's Lehigh Valley where they have established a Suzuki studio. They continue to co-direct four sessions of the Ogontz Suzuki Institute in the White Mountains of New Hampshire.
