Pamela Guidetti

Flutist Pamela Guidetti, winner of the Prestigious Concert Artists Guild Competition and principal flute with the Chamber Orchestra of Philadephia, made her New York debut in Carnegie Recital Hall. As a soloist, chamber musican and recitalist she has appared at Lincon Center, Town Hall, Merkin concert Hall and the Library of Congress. A student of Marcel Moyse, she played with the Marcel Moyse Ensemble at the Marlboro Music Festival. In Europe Ms. Guidetti has made several tours as a soloist with the Chamber Orchestra of Philadelphia and has appeared as a soloist at the Prague International Chamber Music Festival, the Huddersfield (England) Contemporary Music Festival and in Moscow. She was also a soloist at the Caracas Chamber Music Festival in Venezuela. Ms. Guidetti’s numerous radio and television credits include a solo apperance on NBC’s Today Show and recent, hour-long broadcast on Philadelphia’s WRTI comprised of several of her solo performances. She has recorded on the CRI and RCA labels and collaborated with Marcantonio Barone on the Capstone label.
