Russian-born pianist Inessa Zaretsky is the winner of several competitions and has been the recipient of scholarships from Mannes College of Music, Yale, and the EXXON Corporation. She studied with Richard Goode at Mannes College and has performed extensively across the United States and around the world. Her performances have also been broadcast on WQXR, WNYC and NPR. As a chamber musician, Ms. Zaretsky has collaborated with the Miro, Cavani, Cassat, Phedrus and Clarin String Quartets. Ms. Zaretsky is also a gifted composer whose music has been performed by many notable musicians such as the Miro, Clarin and Cassat String Quartets, Kent/ Blossom Festival Orchestra, members of the St. Luke's Orchestra, Lincoln Center's Chamber Music Society Two and many others. She has received several ASCAP Annual Composition Awards as well as the coveted Commission:USA - 2000 grant from the Meet the Composer Foundation. Ms. Zaretsky is on the piano faculty of the Mannes College of Music.
